DUPR 18 (The team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 18.99)

  • Split into two groups of 4

  • Top seed from each group goes to Championship Sunday.

  • Seed 2 and 3 (cross group) will play for a spot in the semifinals on Sunday.

In the HOP State Championship, players will play rally scoring, partners will not switch sides during the game unless they choose to do so during a timeout or when switching ends with their opponents at the halfway point of the game.

  • A point is awarded on every successful rally, regardless of which team is serving.

  • You do not need to be serving to win a point.

Each round consists of four games:

  • Men’s

  • Women’s

  • Mixed

  • Mixed

  • Each game begins at 0–0.

  • However, the overall round score is cumulative, meaning all four games contribute to one running total..

    • Example

  • Game 1 (Mixed):
    Team A defeats Team B, 21–16
    Cumulative score: 21–16

  • Game 2 (Women’s):
    Starting at 0–0, Team A wins 21–10
    Cumulative score now becomes: 42–26

Team A is ahead based on total points accumulated across both games.

  • Each individual game win is worth 2 match points.

  • With four games played, a total of 8 match points are available from game wins.

  • The final 2 match points are awarded to the team with the higher cumulative score after all four games.

  • Total possible match points per round: 10
